Ms. Carrie Vandermeer

Welcome to grade 4! My name is Carrie Vandermeer and this will be my 20th year of teaching, all at Calgary Christian School. I have taught grades 3-6 and was a Learning Support Teacher for a few years. I grew up near Edmonton and attended The King's University College where I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts and Education After Degree. 8 years ago I received my Masters Degree in Inclusive Education.
I enjoy helping my students discover more of God’s world and how they are a part of His story. It is such a privilege to work in a Christian school where students, teachers, and staff are encouraged to show our love for God!
My deep hope is that my students will know that they belong in our classroom community and feel safe to boldly develop the gifts God has given to them.
