Ms. Christa Cherkas
Secondary Science Teacher
It is hard to believe that I am now in my twentieth year of teaching at CCS (and my 26th year of teaching!). It's my pleasure to be a grade 9 homeroom teacher with teaching responsibilities including Science 9 and High School Biology.
I live on a small farm outside of Calgary and get to enjoy it with my husband, two big dogs and our horses. I love our small town church in the countryside of Carstairs where I am part of a worship team. In my spare time, I am an avid Club Pilates member and picked up paddleboarding this summer with my niece.
