The Kindergarten program at Calgary Christian School focuses on the continual development of the whole child - social, emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical and artistic.
We celebrate the wonder of God's hand in all things as we teach the Alberta curriculum. We strive to ensure that all students see themselves as successful, competent learners and to see school as a challenging and exciting environment.
Each child is encouraged to develop at their own level and focus on the concepts that are most meaningful and engaging at a particular moment by allowing them to explore the open-ended play centres and learning activities. Focus and guidance for learning can be offered individually to each student in our small class sizes.
Kindergarten students are included in Elementary Campus activities such as chapel, assemblies and cross-graded student groups and students are encouraged to build relationships with other students and teachers.
