Greetings! I’m so glad you’ve taken some time to get better acquainted with our team at Calgary Christian School. My name is Ken DeWyn, and I enjoy helping others envision greater possibilities and realize their potential.
Both personally and professionally, I enjoy helping others dream of greater possibilities and ultimately realize their potential. As a graduate of Ontario Christian School in California and Calvin University in Michigan, I am both a product of and promoter for Christian education.
My career path has taken me in many interesting directions - from growing up on a dairy, to working in the theatre and education, to business coaching, fundraising, and aviation (LinkedIn Profile). My partner on this rewarding journey has been my amazing wife, Wynne. We have three grown children - all of whom graduated from CCS. This means my work as Executive Director is informed by my experience as a parent at CCS, as well as my commitment to being a servant leader.
I am excited about where we are headed as a Christian school community, and look forward to completing the first phases of our Secondary Campus Improvement Plan.
When I’m not meeting with stakeholders in our community, formulating strategies or drafting plans, you can find me sharing a great meal with family and friends, enjoying a performance at the theatre or in a film, or quietly tending to our garden of perennials.
