Ms. Nicole Yu
French Teacher
Hello! My name is Nicole Yu and I will be teaching Grades 4-6 French this year. I am originally from Calgary, but decided to move out east to complete my B.Ed at McGill University in 2019. I fell in love with Montreal during my time there. After graduating, I worked as a Grade 6 teacher in the English Montreal school board before attending Bible School during the pandemic. I recently moved back to Calgary in January 2022 and have been working at Palliser ever since!
With the easing of covid restrictions, I am anticipating that this school year will be a year of fresh and new beginnings. Two verses that have supplied me in the midst of my new beginnings are: Lamentations 3:22-23, “22 It is Jehovah’s lovingkindness that we are not consumed/ For His compassions do not fail; 23 They are new every morning;/ Great is Your faithfulness.” It will be my first time teaching at Calgary Christian Elementary School and I am looking forward to having a fun time learning French with the students this year!
