Welcome to Calgary Christian School!
I absolutely love the students, families and staff at CCS and am thrilled to be able to continue serving the community of Calgary Christian Elementary School this year. For over two decades my heart has been called to this school and I cannot wait to see the plans God has for CCES.
It is such a privilege to work alongside such compassionate and gifted staff and to be part of a network of caring families who together truly desire what is best for children. It is my deep hope that each student will feel loved and supported, and that they are met with every opportunity to help them be successful in their learning.
Through my professional journey I have been a homeroom teacher, specialist teacher, sessional instructor, and both an elementary and secondary Vice-Principal. I have truly enjoyed each and every one of these positions.
I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy being outdoors, reading, and looking for adventures.
I am passionate about Christian education and feel great joy watching students explore God’s world and word. Our theme verse this year comes from Psalm 25:4-5 and reminds me of the blessing it is to walk alongside our students in their both their academic and faith journeys:
Show me your ways, LORD,
teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.
