I was born and raised in Suriname, Caribbeans. During my university years I moved to the Netherlands, and there I discovered God’s call for me to serve in ministry. Over the years God led me to serve in different ministry capacities in several countries. I had the great opportunity to serve youth and young adults when I was in Suriname and The Netherlands.
In 2007 God led me to Calgary. Initially I thought that I would become a missionary in a creative access country but God wanted me to serve in different churches instead. It has been an incredible journey as I have been teaching the Gospel with the Next Generation for so many years.
One of my passions is to equip and enable youth to be a generation that leads and inspires many to know God deeply. Because of that, I joined the 403 - Youth Network and the Canadian Bible Society to advance this vision! Together with so many other like-minded people and organizations, we focussed heavily on guiding the youth to engage with the Word Of God.
I am excited to join the CCS family as I see a great opportunity to continue to make an impact for Jesus together.
