Make a Difference in a Child’s Life!

Educational Assistants (EA’s) are needed to provide support to a young child with Down syndrome in each of the Calgary Christian School’s  MWF morning preschool classes. The PREP Program provides supervision, program planning, and therapist support to enable you to confidently implement an Individual Program Plan. The benefits are enormous to families and you will enjoy seeing a child bloom. 

Each position will begin in September and is part-time (up to .5). The classes run Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. All applicants must have a reliable vehicle. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, oral and written. Strong interpersonal skills are an asset, as each EA is expected to be a confident, contributing member of the therapy team.

 Only candidates with relevant education background (e.g., education, child development, psychology, disability studies, social work) will be considered. The starting rate is $20/hour.
