Calgary Christian School is a community, called and dedicated to integrate faith and learning, reaching for excellence in equipping responsive citizens of God’s Kingdom through a Christ-centered educational environment.
THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE
The Learning Experience at CCS will focus on three key elements to intentionally prepare and equip students as responsive citizens of God’s Kingdom:
IDENTITY
As the foundation for all character and skill development, students will come to know their “identity in Christ”, through the holistic affirmation of their personal value and purpose, and actively pursuing their unique roles in God’s Story of redemption and renewal.
A CCS student’s identity will be:

A CCS student will know that they are:

RELATIONSHIPS
Students become Christ’s active presence in the world as they live, work, and thrive in community
At CCS, students will experience God’s love, and will grow in their dependence on Him and in their interdependence with others.
As CCS students learn to love God more, they will grow closer to Him through guided acts of personal and communal

PURPOSE
Through their learning at CCS, students will be motivated to explore, discover, improve, and act upon their passions, interests, and abilities as they put their own faith into action.
