Ryan Cathcart

Hello! My name is Ryan Cathcart and I am thrilled to be joining the Calgary Christian School community this school year.

I first graduated in 2016 with a degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in mechatronics. After working as an engineer for a few years I decided office work wasn’t for me, and seeing how much my wife (who is also a high school teacher) enjoys her day-to-day inspired me to return to university for my Bachelor of Education. I have always had a passion for math, science, and technology and am excited to bring those passions to my classroom. I love Jesus and try to follow him in every category of my life, so I feel so blessed to be at a school where I can share my faith with my colleagues and students. In my free-time I enjoy backpacking, building robots, and watching movies with my wife.
